In Which An Old Friend Dies

I was doing some cleaning this weekend and, in and amongst the tupperware, I found my old friend, Herkimer.  I had been wondering where he'd gone.  I figured the housekeeper threw him away one day when she came to clean.

My rosy-cheeked friend looked as fine and dandy as ever from the front...

...but then I turned him over and discovered he got all broke up and rotted from the inside out:

"No, 'tis not so deep as a well, nor so wide as a church door; but 'tis enough...ask for me tomorrow and ye shall find me a grave man." Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet

So, I kissed him goodbye and tossed him before the house could get too sulfuric.

Soooo did you kiss the crack on the back or the solid part in the front? do you now smell sulfuric by association?
