Prague, Redux

Since I'm the luckiest girl in the world, I got to take a quick trip to Prague.  In between securing pork products and pretending to work, I found myself with 3/4 of a free day.

I started out with a jog along the Vltava River which, luckily, had shrunk back down from its June flooding.  I mapped out my path so that it would take me past some of my favorite sites: the John Lennon wall, Mr. Kabourik, the Dancing House, the Art Nouveau architecture, the National Theatre, Klementium and back across the Charles Bridge.

After standing over the air conditioner in my room for a few minutes and then eating a really late breakfast and getting ready, I went back out and spent the rest of the morning and afternoon looking at beautiful things made by Alfons Mucha, Gustav Klimt and Frantisek Kupka at various museums.  Then on a plane and gone.

But not before spotting the best shoes I've ever seen.  Ever.

Faceless was creepy, clown thing was super creepy, but those shoes will give nightmares for years to come.
