Help...

I've cut my bangs using my sewing scissors and the mirror three times in the last six weeks. Every time I trim them, they get just a teensy bit more crooked.

It turns out it is actually very hard to use scissors on your own hair, especially when that hair is so very close to your eyes and when the image you are working with is actually reversed from reality.

(After a close up examination, I think, subconsciously, I am cutting around my eyes. I am really quite afraid of poking my eyes out or cutting my eyelashes.)

If you comb them together and twist them and then cut across the twist, they'll curve across your forehead.

Both excellent suggestions. Dave, I've ordered the flowbee for future hair-cutting needs.

Melissa - as bangs are so important, I'll be using your twisty method for cutting my bangs - the flowbee could potentially malfunction and then where would I be?
