This week, I did a little sightseeing in Amman - a visit to the Citadel and Temple of Hercules, the King Abdullah Mosque and downtown markets...pretty low key but I did finally find the famed gold markets which were, sadly, way too rich for my blood, at $1589 an ounce (as perspective, they wanted $400 for a bangle bracelet).
I didn't take many pictures - too busy conversing and kinda hating the inadequacy of my camera these days.
is it just me, or is this R2D2's cousin?
