I was so looking forward to an idyllic summer, jumping off our porch into our new neighborhood swimming hole (aka the construction pit that has been filling up all winter with gangrenous-green-trash-filled water).
Sadly, today, they drained the whole thing.
Guess I'll just have to go back to lounging by the crystal clear Olympic-sized pool at the Embassy. Le Sigh.
