For some reason swimming in salt saturated water has never appealed to me, but if you had any infected cuts they've probably been painfully cleaned now...
I did warn everyone not to shave the day before as the salt's effect on any type of abrasion is quite potent. I will say - it doesn't have the odor the Great Salt Lake has so its actually pretty enjoyable. Your kids would love the buoyancy!
