I got my day off, alright. Unfortunately, it was mostly spent at the Virginia Medical Center, wheeling around to various different doctor's offices.
The final verdict was a broken ankle AND a broken foot (I always was an overachiever). I rewarded myself with Five Guys and Zachary Quinto as Spock.
I've been looking for a way to tone my arms - I don't know why I didn't think to consider using crutches for 6-8 weeks as my solution?!
*many many many thanks to my roommate Sarah for spending a good portion of Wednesday driving and wheeling me to various doctor's offices. Many many more thanks to both Sarah and Rachel for being at my beck and call for the last few days (I stopped short of making them give me a sponge bath).

Thanks for the shout-out. I love being mentioned in other people's blogs because it reaffirms and validates my existence.
I'm so sad for your disgusting ankle - even though the sight of it is going to give me nightmares.
Well at least your are not having surgery with plates, screws, etc. I have an old pair of crutches in the basement I was thinking of sending to haiti but maybe I'll just start my own exercise program to tone my upper arms.
Your mother loves you and would have given you a sponge bath if she could have gotten to you.
